Open-source contribution to Zulip, a team chat app with almost one million lines of code.

• Built, in a pair, the first implementation of cropping and scaling for profile picture uploads (about 1,000 lines in TypeScript, JavaScript, Handlebars and CSS); a later PR completed the feature.
• Had a bug fix merged for an extraneous shadow on link previews.
• Followed Zulip's strict coding guidelines and commit discipline.

Volunteer management web app, built in a team of seven for the Software Engineering course at IST.

• Implemented volunteer applications, institution selection and volunteer evaluations, full stack in Java, Groovy and Vue.
• Worked with Agile practices, GitLab issue boards, automated tests and Docker.

Co-organised a 42 km group run for about 30 people, raising around €300 and food donations for ReFood.
